The Best Grilled BBQ Pizza

Have you ever tried to grill a pizza? Well, if not, I urge you to do so. It's real easy and a lot of fun. Today I am going to write about a Barbecued grilled pizza. Now, if we are talking BBQ and pizza, then there must only be one topping that we can use. That's right, pork! I think some nice spicy Italian sausage would be perfect for this recipe.

Lets start by talking about our dough. This is usually where people abort the recipe. As soon as they see anything that requires the science of yeast, they run. Fear not, there are plenty of ready made pizza crust as well as ready- to- roll dough balls. Both can be found at the local grocer. Today we are going to use a ready made pizza crust and doctor it up just a little.

First, take your ready made crust and brush it with a mixture of olive oil, garlic and dry basil. This will add an extra level of flavor to the dough. Then, instead of using tomato sauce, we are going to use BBQ sauce. You won't believe how well this works. Just brush a layer of BBQ sauce on the crust and then top it with some chopped Italian sausage. At the very last minute sprinkle a hand full of mozzarella cheese on top.

Now that the pizza is ready for grilling, it's now time to get our grill all set. The key to a really good grilled pizza is the heat of your grill. In most of my recipes I talk about how you should get your grill real hot and then turn it down before cooking. When grilling a pizza, it is a must to get the grill as hot as it can be, and then keep it hot. Once you open the lid of your grill, the heat will start to escape, so make sure your pizza is at arms length.

Now place your pizza on your oiled grill racks and close the lid. Let the pizza do its thing for about 7 minutes. Don't worry about it burning, it wont. And don't peak. After seven minutes, take a look, if the cheese is nice and melted and the sausage is bubbling, then we are all set. Remove your pizza from your grill and let it rest on a cutting board. Slice into squares or slices and serve.

The crusty grilled flavor of the dough is just like having your own coal fired pizza oven at home. The flavor of the http://htbbqsaucemix.com>BBQ Sauce is outstanding, it goes great with the sausage. The melted cheese is a huge bonus. It makes the whole pie come together, what a treat, this is a must try.

Eat Well!

How to Save on Baking Supplies

Everyone enjoys eating freshly baked homemade cookies straight out of the oven. The mesmerizing aroma of freshly baked homemade bread and other goods is simply irresistible. Many people around the world enjoy baking as a hobby and prefer homemade baked goods to bakery goods. Baking is done throughout the year, especially during the holiday season when families gather together to enjoy the holiday spirit. Baking is easy, all it requires is a recipe and baking supplies. There are many free recipes available on the internet for easy access, while there are numerous recipe books sold worldwide.

Baking from scratch is definitely not cheap. Some recipes require too many ingredients which can be quite costly to make at home. Each recipe has different ingredients, though baking supplies are more or less the same. It is best to make a list of the common baking supplies you would need and buy quality supplies that would last a long time since most of them are often expensive, especially if you are on a budget.

There are many UK bakery supply stores that are listed on SearchMe4, the UK's leading online business directory. Most of the baking supply stores provide customers with a huge range of utensils, dishware, bread makers, coffee makers, and table accessories. Some of the common baking supplies are can openers, pots, pans, and baking dishes.

Baking pans and pots come in a variety of material such as stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron, lined copper, tempered glass, anodized aluminium, and porcelain enamel. Non stick baking pans are ideal for baking as they do not need any form of grease. There is a wide range of manual and electric can openers that come in different style and type such as handheld, table top, bladeless and under the counter.

Majority of the homes have baking supplies since baking is done continuously. However, if you need to buy baking supplies and would not like to overspend, there are ways to save money. Baking supply stores usually have sales after the holidays or during the end of a season offering huge discounts on cookware which helps save money. For instance, bread makers are not that popular at the end of winter and are usually on sale.

Another way to save money is to buy in bulk and stock for future use. When you come across a good sale, it is best to buy in bulk certain goods like margarine, berries, and candy coated chocolate can easily be kept in the freezer for a long time. Most brands offer discounts on large bags of flour, sugar, etc which can help save money.

Baking Trays

Is it safe to use oven cleaner on baking trays?

Hi, might be a daft question but am a bit paranoid lol.

Boyfriend cleaned our baking trays on sunday with some Mr Muscle oven cleaner and i cooked some dinner on it tonight, i put tin foil over it as i wasn't happy about my food touching any residue on it, but after taking the tray out i could still smell the oven cleaner on it.

Is it ok to use oven cleaner?

Thanks

I use oven cleaner on most of my pans, it works. The reason why it smells of oven cleaner is because it wasn't properly washed and rinsed after he did it. Re-clean it.
