Loaf Recipes

loaf recipes
baking multiple loaves of bread - does the cooking time change compared to a single loaf?

I have baked a loaf successfully, then two loaves together, but I'd like to make perhaps 10 at a time. Do I need to alter the cooking time from the single loaf recipe? If so, is there a guide to how I should alter it?

I can't imagine a home oven being able to hold ten regular-sized loaves at one time. I know that there's no difference between one and four loaves, but four loaves is about as much as a regular oven will hold.

Remember that you have to leave quite a space above the loaves for rising. You can't put loaves on more than one rack for this reason.
