E coli spinach is it only baged spinach ?
I bought a oven pizza with spinach on it. Will I be ok? I also ordered a small spinach pizza last night. So am I safe? How long do the effects of E coli take to set in? I know im fine but just wondering if I should chuck this pizza or not?
Thanks
The bacteria does not survive cooking. If there was any e coli, it would be killed if heated to 160 degrees. Usually pizza is baked at 400 to 425 degrees. The current problem is with contaminated bagged fresh spinach, which is usually eaten raw. I wouldn't worry about your spinach pizzas.
