How should I cook a Wood Pigeon?
I'm planning to roast it in the oven, but...
How long for?
At what temperature?
How do I check if it's cooked? Is it like with chicken - ie juices run clear when it's cooked?
Anything else I need to know?

I bought them all from a game dealer at the local farmer's market.

HI .YES ROAST IN OVEN BUT COOK FIRST HALF BREAST DOWN AS THIS WILL KEEP THE BREAST FROM GOING DRY THEN TURN BACK OVER TO BROWN THE SKIN, TIME ??? BUT COOK SLOW WITH ONIONS AND A SPOT OF WINE AND SOME HERBS, CHECK AS CHICKEN , AND ADD I SPOON OF RED CURRENT JELLY TO THE GRAVY FAB.
