What's a recipe for smooth and soft pizza dough?

I'm not a fan of the thin, crispy kind. I really love the soft dough that you can bite into which some pizza franchises use.

Does anyone know of a similar recipe for making such dough?

Also, can somebody point me in the direction of a good hawaiin pizza recipe as well?

I like to dump flour, an egg, salt, some sugar, water, and take a meat bandsaw to the lot of it until the counter is nice and soft, but not too sticky. If it's sticky I add more flour, then more bandsaw.
