Homemade Pizza Recipe For Kids

homemade pizza recipe for kids
What are some recipes that kids can make?

I am looking for some easy and fun things for a group of kids to make. To give you some background, this is for a group of kids in a summer camp. In the past we have made: pizza on an english muffin, homemade ice cream, "dirt", and banana pudding. Any other suggestions for future recipes?
Smoothies is a good idea!!! But i am also looking for something that is not sweets

Fish in the River

SERVES 2

* 2 celery ribs, washed and trimmed
* 1/4 cup cream cheese or cheese spread, softened
* 12 goldfish crackers

1. Fill prepared celery stalks with your choice of cream cheese or cheese spread.
2. Add the goldfish crackers on top of cream cheese or cheese spread to look like fish swimming.
3. For fun, you could always use a flavored cream cheese or add something to it for your choice of flavors. To make it even more fun, try tinting the cream cheese with a little blue food coloring to make it look like water.
4. Enjoy!

Frozen Bananas

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
3 bananas
6 ice-cream sticks
Two 1-1/2 oz. chocolate bars
1 tbsp. chopped nuts, crispy rice cereal, granola, or shredded coconut (optional)
1. Peel the bananas and remove any stringy fibers. Cut the bananas in half, widthwise, and push an ice-cream stick through the cut end of each half. Cover them in plastic wrap and freeze for about three hours.

2. Place the chocolate bars in a microwave-proof bowl and cook on high for about 2 minutes, or until the chocolate melts. Check after one minute. Stir in the nuts, cereal, or coconut.

3. Using a butter knife, spread the chocolate mixture over the frozen bananas to coat them completely. Rest the pops on a plate covered with waxed paper and freeze until ready to serve. Makes 6 pops.

Tater Boats

The basic baked spud seems much more adventurous when it's tricked out with a ship's rigging. To save time, bake a few potatoes ahead or use frozen skins, then let kids stuff and decorate them with carrot-stick masts and red- or yellow-pepper sails.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
1 medium baked potato
1/8 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tbsp. butter or margarine
Salt and pepper to taste
Extra grated cheddar cheese, carrot sticks, red or yellow pepper
1. Cut the cooked potato in half lengthwise and scoop the insides into a bowl. Mash in the cheese, milk, butter, salt, and pepper, then spoon the mixture back into the potato skin.

2. Warm for 2 minutes on high in the microwave. Decorate the halves with an extra sprinkle of cheese, then add carrot-stick masts and red- or yellow-pepper sails.
