is there a downside to using a normal oven to make jerky?
i read where i can make jerky in a nomal oven at low temps how tasty is jerky done this way and how long doe it take thanks
Most "oven jerky" recipes require that the home oven to be set between 155 and 170 F, and most home ovens can't achieve that accuracy for an extended time.
I have a digital convection oven, and the lowest that my oven temperature can achieve is 175.......
Can you post the recipe?? Just interested in the method employed.......Thanks!!!
