Wood in the oven? For creme brulee?
Im making creme brulee in small cups and it went great but i just though about the little handle cup has, its made of a small piece of wood, its already in the oven, im scared it might catch fire :/ the cups is in hot water but a tiny bit of the wood is sticking out, can anything happen??
It is very unlikely that your oven is hot enough for it to catch fire. Especially if it is sitting in water.
