I'd say about 375 for twenty minutes, if they're really thin then 400 for 15 minutes. (or less, as long as they're not still pink inside, but are browned outside.)

I have pulled recipes from my vintage collection that may allow you to make some of the old fashion meals you remember. Choose from Onion Patch Pudding from the 1950s or the Old Fashion Pork Chops with Dressing. Oh so good! You should probably try them both; you'll be glad you did! It is always fun to stroll down memory lane from time to time.
ONION PATCH PUDDING This is a Southern Indiana recipe from the 1950s.
2 cups chopped onion 1/4 cup butter 1 well-beaten egg 1 tbs. dried parsley 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 cups sifted flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/4 cup butter 3/4 cup milk 1 1/2 cups sour cream (commercial) 2 unbeaten eggs 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper
Saute chopped onion in 1/4 cup butter in a 9x9x2-inch pan. Stir in well-beaten egg, parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Spread over bottom of pan. Sift together, flour, baking powder and 1 teaspoon salt into mixing bowl. Cut in 1/4 cup butter until particles are fine. Add milk all at once, stirring until dough clings together. Knead on lightly floured surface 10 to 12 times. Pat out to a 9-inch square; place over onion mixture. Combine the sour cream, 2 unbeaten eggs, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper; beat well. Pour over dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes until deep golden brown. Serve hot.
Note: It was suggested that you serve Onion Patch Pudding with roast meat and gravy.
OLD FASHION PORK CHOPS AND DRESSING 8 pork chops 1 cup flour 3/4 cup shortening salt pepper 8 cups bread cubes 1 egg 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp ground sage 2 cups boiling water
Heat shortening (or canola oil for a healthier frying method today)in a large skillet. Dip the pork chops in the flour, shake to remove excess flour and brown in the hot skillet. Remove chops from the skillet and place in the bottom of a baking dish. Combine te bread cubes, egg, chopped onion, salt, pepper, ground sage, and boiling water. Pour the mixture evenly over the chops. Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 1 hour.

Even someone who doesn't cook much can whip up these chops in no time.

6 pork chops, 1/2 cup of flour, 2 eggs, beaten, 15 Ritz style crackers, crushed, 2 tablespoons of margarine.
Add the flour to a medium sized bowl. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, add in the crushed crackers.
In a large skillet, melt the margarine over medium heat.
Coat each pork chop on both sides in the flour, then in the eggs, then dip in the cracker crumb mixture. Cook the chops on both sides until completely done and no pink is showing.

1 cup of ketchup, 1 cup of regular cola (any brand), 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 8 pork chops, salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, combine the ketchup, cola and the brown sugar.
Place the pork chops into a baking dish and pour the cola mixture on top. Be sure to coat the chops well. Sprinkle the chops with salt and pepper.
Bake for 1 hour or until the chops are completely done.
Now, you need a great side dish to go along with your pork chops. Macaroni and cheese made with Velveeta cheese is a classic that many people love. Keeping with our simple dinner theme, all you need to make this delicious dish is a box of macaroni, some butter and flour, milk, and of course, Velveeta cheese.

1 (16 oz.) box of Macaroni – uncooked, 1/2 cup of butter or margarine, 1/2 cup of all purpose flour, 4 cups of milk, 1 (14 oz.) package of Velveeta cheese, cut into chunks, salt and pepper to taste, 8 slices of Velveeta cheese.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking oil or spray.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to bubble and thickens.
Put in the chunks of Velveeta and allow them to melt. Add in the salt and the pepper.
Pour the uncooked macaroni into the baking dish, then pour the cheese sauce over the macaroni. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove the dish from the oven and place individual cheese slices on top.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or when you see that the cheese slices on top have melted. Allow dish to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
