Baking Bread Without Yeast

baking bread without yeast

Eat nothing Made with Yeast in the Bible versus the Quran

The Yeast in our life:

Leavening agent or leaven is any one of a number of substances used in dough and batters that cause a foaming action which lightens and softens the finished product. The biological leavening agent such as yeast, that causes batter or dough to rise, especially by fermentation; it reacts with moisture, heat, acidity, or other triggers to produce carbon dioxide gas that becomes trapped as bubbles within the dough.

This causes the dough to expand or rise as the carbon dioxide forms pockets or bubbles. When the dough is baked it sets and the pockets remain, giving the baked product a soft and spongy texture.

Leavening agent, as with yeast or baking powder; often used as a combining form; leavened bread; yeast-leavened breads.

In addition, Yeast is used in nutritional supplements popular with vegans and the health conscious

In addition, some probiotic supplements use the yeast to maintain and restore the natural flora in the large and small gastrointestinal tract. Yeasts have been shown to reduce the symptoms of acute diarrhea in children.

The Yeast in the Holy books:

The Yeast in the Bible:

The Bible says:

  • Eat nothing made with yeast
  • No yeast is to be found in your houses
  • Eat bread made without yeast
  • Wherever you live, you must eat unleavened bread
  • Kill whoever eats anything with yeast
  • Kill the alien who eats anything with yeast
  • Kill the native-born who eats what is leavened (anything with yeast in it).

The Yeast in the Noble Quran:

On the other hand, Yeast and what is leavened (anything with yeast in it) are not forbidden in the Quran.  According to the Quran, It is not a sin to consume Yeast and/or what is leavened (anything with yeast in it).  The Quran never ever says to kill whoever eats anything with yeast either alien, native-born or strange or whoever he is.

Back to my question to the smart and interested reader:
