Did I eat well today?
I am trying to loose 70 pounds. So here is what ate today.
Breakfast:
1 slice of whole grain toast, 1/2 cup fat free plain yogurt, 1 nectarine, 500ml water
Snack: 1 banana, 500ml water
Lunch 1 egg salad sandwich (1 celery stalk, 1/2 tablespoon fat free mayonnaise, 1 egg, dash salt, 2 dashes of pepper, 2 slices whole grain bread) and 1/2 cup of lettuce with salt and pepper, 500 ml water
Snack: 2 large carrots, 500 ml water
Supper: 1/2 baked chicken breast, 1 cup steamed broccoli, 1/4 cup cooked yam, handful of snap peas, 500 ml water
I went for a 45 minute power walk today, and did a 45 minute yoga video.
I just started my diet, and I am in need of advice. I weigh 200 pounds and am 5'6 (please don't judge), and really need to loose weight. SO if you have any suggestion or tips, I'd appreciate them.

Analysis: 2 Fruits, 4 Veggies, 3 Whole Grain, 2 Protein, 1 Dairy.
All in all pretty good. I would add another serving of protein, maybe an egg or two with breakfast, and either some skim milk or other source of calcium. Other than the fat free mayo, you ate really really well.
