Help with making cream cheese veggie pizza?

I lost my recipe - the ones I find are all so different. I know I used a package of the Hidden Valley ranch, but should I use mayo as well? Some recipes call for mayo, and some leave it out. Some even suggest sour cream. I want this to be a hit at the party, so can you tell me how to make the spread just perfect?

combine the ranch dip mix with 8 oz of softened sour cream, and add sour cream or mayo to create a spreadable consistency (1/4 cup or more, depending on your preference).

i use a blend of sour cream and mayo because i don't like such a strong mayo taste, but that's my own preference. try using light versions of cream cheese, sour cream and mayo for a lower-calorie recipe, and load up on the veggies! chances are, most people won't notice the difference, and you'll feel good about serving it.
