Food Network Recipes

food network recipes
Have you tried any recipes from the Food Network? Which show/s?

So far I've made Paula Deen's Red Velvet Cupcakes, Giada's Butternut Squash Lasagna, Jamie Oliver's Pappardelle w/ Leeks and a few others.
Have you tried any of the recipes based on the shows? Which ones? Which show is your favorite? Least favorite?
You're right...it is expensive and sometimes hard to get all of the ingredients. I find Farmer's Markets to be the BEST source of inexpensive cheeses and veggies. I LOVE Jamie at Home and Everyday Italian. Barefoot Contessa is great too. Paula Deen...only for desserts and appetizers. I'm a California girl and sometimes the Southern dishes just don't translate well out here!!!

I've made Tyler Florences ultimate cheesecake and let me tell you....its a definite KEEPER in my home! I dont even like cheesecake, but this one is decadent. I've also made several of Barefoot Contessa's recipes. She has a really good one for roasted chicken where you stick 2 lemon halves and lots of garlic bulbs inside the chicken along with slices of bacon on top. This is the only way we roast chicken in our home now, but we use turkey bacon to cut the fat a lil bit....deeeelish!
