Baked Breads

baked breads
What permits do I need and how do I get them to sell baked goods (breads, cookies, muffins) online?

I already have some ideas for setting up a website to sell them but I don't have any idea where to start with the permits!!! Thanks!
I am looking to sell them on craigslist, to locals. We live beside a large college football field, so I was thinking of doing roadside bake sales on game days too. Do I need a permit for that?

the first permit you need is getting a kitchen approved for commercial baking - you might not be allowed by your town zoning or state health dept to operate from your home kitchen. Bread and muffins have a very short shelf life - they might spoil before reaching the customer even if shipped the same day you baked it - you are talking about mail order, right?
