Is this healthy??? (vegan)?
Hello.
I'm vegan, and always looking for the healthiest possible foods.
I was at Whole Foods today, and spotted Rustic Crust Organic Pizza

I thought this looked fairly healthy.
Compared to this:

Thoughts?
Any great recipes for homemade HEALTHY vegan pizza dough?
Thanks!
Namaste
I think that Rustic Crust looks very healthy, except I don't like that it contains soybean oil. I don't have a problem with healthy, unprocessed/lightly processed organic soy (like tempeh or tofu), but I hate when soybean oil is unnecessarily added to products! At least this brand uses organic soy oil, though, since so much soy is genetically modified. I just wish they'd use all olive oil, you know?
Anyway - For a good homemade crust, I love the recipe in "Vegan with a Vengeance" (I replace most of the white flour with white whole wheat). Do you have that book? I tried to find the recipe online for you, but I can't!
This is a great recipe, too: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Amazing-Whole-Wheat-Pizza-Crust/Detail.aspx
