Can i bake my garlic bread and lasagna together?
Tonight, I'm making a pan of lasagna and I bought a small loaf of garlic bread (the kind in the aluminum bag at the grocer). My question, which I THINK I can do it, is whether I can put the bread in the oven on another shelf during the lasagna's final few minutes. Do I have to finish my lasagna and remove it before i bake the bread? Or can I just slide it in? If I can, how long would the bread need to bake, and does it matter which rack of the oven they go on?
Since lasagna needs a good 10 minutes to "rest" before cutting, take it out and put the bread in at that time. I don't like how it turns out in the bag, so I would put it on a baking sheet & do 350 for 15 minutes, turning it over halfway so it gets crisp.
