When baking bread in an oven, does spraying butter pan coating on it give it a better taste?
I know it gives it a browner look, but does it do anything for the bread. If you need to know I am mainly talking about Sourdough Bread Bouls
I know it keeps bread from sticking to the pan. But I am talking about taste.
I would use melted butter brushed over them. Then they would have the best flavor available.
I won't spend the $$ for the spray stuff that is fake butter flavored. It doesn't even taste like butter.
