Homemade Pizza Topping

Please Help!! Homemade Pizza Recipe...?

I found this pizza dough recipe online:

Pizza Dough
Ingredients
•3 cups all-purpose flour
•1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
•2 tablespoons vegetable oil
•1 teaspoon salt
•1 tablespoon white sugar
•1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
Directions
1.Combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Mix in oil and warm water. Spread out on a large pizza pan. Top as desired.
2.Bake at 375 degrees C (190 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes

My question is, can I put the pizza sauce, cheese, and (already cooked) pepperonis on top of the pizza dough WHILE the dough is rising, or do I need to wait for the dough to rise FIRST, take it out, and THEN put the sauce, cheese, and pre-cooked pepperonis on?

Thanks in advance for ANY help!!! =)

1) Make the dough and let it rise

2) Shape the dough into a pizza shape. Either put it in a pizza pan or on a peel dusted with corn meal

3) put on your toppings.

Just as a point of reference, your dough is light on salt. For 3 cups flour, you typically use 2 tsp salt. Also, you may need slightly more water. My pizza dough (also uses 3 cups flour) takes between 1 and 1 1/4 cups water. (not an exact science)
