Substituting baking soda in soda bread recipe?

Can I substitute baking soda with anything in a soda bread recipe, such as baking powder by any chance?
Yeah, good point, I should just go to the store and buy some baking soda, but I'm too lazy and my stomach hurts.

Baking powder and baking soda are two different things and are not interchangeable
