Easy pizza dough recipe using no yeast or baking powder?
I don't have either yeast or baking powder, but I do have baking soda.
All the recipes I can find require yeast or baking powder for the "rising" action of the dough.
However, you can substitute for baking powder by the following method:
For each 1 teaspoon baking powder called for in a recipe, use:
1/4 teaspoon baking soda plus 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar;
OR
1/4 teaspoon baking soda plus 1/2 cup buttermilk, sour cream or yogurt (to replace 1/2 cup liquid called for in recipe).
enjoy that pizza!
