Does this recipe sound good? Greek Pizza? my own recipe.. but i need some help?
Ok.. i love Greek food.. so why not make a Greek pizza?
one i want to make homemade pita bread... any recipes?
well for the pizza... get the dough and spread it out... bake it at what ever temp needed... (for homemade) and then put the cucumber sause (any recipes for that?) then the meat, the rest of what you want on it: i.e, tomato, onion... then heat it in the oven for 5 mins.. sound good??!?! please rate!
I love greek food too. The cucumber sauce is call Tzatziki.
I make mine by chopping and then draining the juice from the cucumbers. Strain yogurt to get the juice off of it. mix it with minced garlic, sour cream, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, and dill. Also a little salt and pepper.
I think your idea is good with tomatoes, olives, red onion, but I wouldn't put the tzatkiki on it until it comes out of the oven. I don't think it would do well cooked. Makes me want to have gyros right now!
