Pizza is the Best Fast Food

Some people doubt that pizza is the best fast food you can buy. However, in Italy, the UK and the US there is no doubt in anyone's mind that it is the king of fast food. The Americans eat more pizza than anyone else, so they are without doubt voting with their stomachs.

 

Pizza is great for many, many reasons, but the first reason I am going to mention may seem a little odd. Pizza is healthy; at least it can be if you make the right choices when you order. You can get a pizza base made with wholemeal flour, and chose vegetables or low fat meats for the topping. You can also order a pizza with low fat cheese on it or simply ask them to keep the cheese to a minimum. On a pizza you do not need a lot of cheese, in fact, without lashings of cheese you will be able to savour the taste of the other toppings more.

 

Pizza is a very social food it is great for ordering with your friends. You can each order a different pizza and share the pizzas between you. That way you get more variety and everyone gets to contribute to the meal.

 

Some takeaway foods do not travel well they lose heat too fast this is not the case with pizza. It always arrives piping hot and usually arrives very quickly.

 

There is never any waste with a pizza, if you cannot manage to eat your pizza in one sitting you can just put it in the fridge and eat it the next day. In fact, it is a well-known fact that pizza tastes better the next day.

 

For vegetarians pizza is the perfect fast food. In many restaurants and takeaways vegetarians do not get much of a choice with pizza this is not the case. Because a pizza is made fresh, if the customer does not want a meat topping that is not a problem to the cook they can simply substitute meat with a vegetable topping instead.

 

There is no doubt that a pizza is tasty. Each bite is a flavour explosion a tantalising mix of new flavours.
