How to open a Take-out Pizza place!?
Hi I'm from Italy and lived in the US for a couple of years. I make really good pizza, the Italian way and know more than 50 different recipes which would out beat the American list. I was wondering how much will it cost to open a very small store and also install a brick oven which makes pizza much more tastier than the regular electric oven, any idea?
The person who suggested posting this in the local Business category is 100% correct. Post this there.
I can give you a thumbnail idea of what you'll need.
1) A business plan.
2) Architectural plans for a small pizzeria.
3) Bank financing
4) Equipment.
5) Utilities (gas, water, electricity)
6) Food suppliers.
In addition, having 50 recipes is a "recipe" for failure!
1) Find your best dough recipe.
2) Find your best two sauce recipes.
3) Find your best cheese blend (or just go with a single cheese).
4) Keep the additional toppings to a minimum (no more than ten).
What area of the country do you live in? That will determine your rent, labor costs, food costs, and utility costs.
I'm in the process of opening a pizza and kebab store in Texas. I've run pizzerias in the past (25 years ago) and also have an MBA. We're looking to ask for $100,000 in financing that will cover construction of the store space (converting a space in an existing shopping center), equipment, and food and labor costs for a month.
Best of luck.
