How do I knead bread dough by hand?

Broke my dough hook+electric mixer... Can't afford a new one this soon after paying tuition. Any tips on how to make my bread dough by hand?

kneading dough is easy! You gather your dough in a clump then pull your fingers into your hand, not into a fist but close to that. Then start to make a back and forth motion with your hands. It should roll it out and make it flat.
